Things Not to do During the
Interview
1. Do not get
involved in personal conversation with the candidate or other board
members. 2. Do not convey the desired answer while asking the
question. 3. Do not talk the question to death in the process of
asking it. 4. Do not spend time telling the candidate about how
good or how bad your school is. 5. Do not say things or do
things that would lead the candidate to think the job is sewed up.
6. Do not let your body language or expressions convey messages
to the candidate. 7. Do not disagree verbally nor argue with any
answer given by the candidate. 8. Do not set a rigid,
confrontational type atmosphere. 9. Do not run overtime and keep
your next interview waiting. 10. Do not answer questions that
might be discriminatory. 11. Do not let the candidate take
control of the interview. |
