2019 Board Member Institute

           February 21-23, 2019, Eldorado Hotel, Santa Fe, NM

 The New Mexico School Boards Association will host the 2019 Board Institute which is held during the Annual Legislative Session in Santa Fe and provides opportunities for board members to advocate for education priorities with State Legislators. The Board Institute also features informative general sessions and a variety of breakout sessions on school governance and public education.

2019 School Law Conference

June 7-8, 2019, Hotel Albuquerque, Albuquerque, NM

The New Mexico School Boards Association and the
Cuddy and McCarthy Law Firm will host the 40th Annual School Law Conference for school board members, superintendents and school personnel. The conference features presentations on the latest legal issues facing public education and includes numerous breakout sessions to assist new and veteran school board members, administrators and educators.

2019 Leadership Retreat

July 12-13, 2019, MCL Elegante Hotel, Ruidoso, NM

The New Mexico School Boards Association will conduct the 2019 Leadership Retreat for School Board Leaders, Board of Directors and other School Board Members wishing to take advantage of NMSBA training opportunities. The Retreat focuses on leadership strategies and skills for new and veteran school board members.

2019 Annual Convention

           December 6-7 2019, Embassy Suites, Albuquerque, NM

 The New Mexico School Boards Association will conduct the 2019 Annual Convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On Friday attendees will listen to  keynote speakers, participate in the Delegate Assembly to adopt legislative priorities and elect state officers. Outstanding school board members will be honored with recognition and training awards at the Awards Luncheon.  The Convention continues on Saturday with a variety of breakout sessions on school governance and public education.
