2017 Annual Convention

December 1-2, 2017, Embassy Suites Hotel, Albuquerque NM

The Annual Convention provides information to board members, administrators and education stakeholders on a variety of key education topics. In addition, the Association conducts it’s Annual Delegate Assembly, elects State Officers and adopts it’s Legislative Program. The Association also recognizes school board members for their outstanding service and training accomplishments by presenting Leadership Development, Board Member of the Year, Board of Education of the Year and Hall of Fame Awards

2018 Board Institute

           February 8-10, 2018, Eldorado Hotel, Santa Fe, NM

 This conference focuses on legislative issues and provides opportunities to visit the Roundhouse.  Board Institute also incorporates board member training with General Sessions on Friday Morning and Breakout Sessions on Friday Afternoon and Saturday Morning.

2018 School Law Conference

June 8-9, 2018, Albuquerque, NM

The New Mexico School Boards Association and the
Cuddy and McCarthy Law Firm will host the 39th Annual School Law Conference for school board members, superintendents and school personnel. The conference features presentations on the latest legal issues facing public education and includes twenty-five distinct breakout sessions to assist new and veteran school board members and administrators.
